high heating expenses
Additional costs incurred due to inefficient insulation and energy loss.
Project Goal
The Krishna Temple in Kyiv has been a place of daily worship, spiritual practice, and service for thousands of people for many years. Today, the temple building urgently needs a complete facade insulation project to preserve warmth, reduce energy costs, and create proper conditions for worship and service during the winter season.
Over time, the building’s facade has lost much of its thermal efficiency. During the cold season, the temple loses a significant amount of heat through its walls and complex architectural elements.
This results in:
Additional costs incurred due to inefficient insulation and energy loss.
The structure fails to retain warmth, affecting the comfort of the premises.
Funds are diverted from community projects to cover rising utility bills.
Structural issues lead to a continuous cycle of wasted energy and high costs.
This project includes insulation of a large and architecturally complex facade: Main facade area — 1,800 m² and Pilasters and architectural elements — 2,250 linear meters. This is a large-scale and technically demanding project requiring professional equipment, high-quality materials, and skilled specialists.
Delivery, installation, 4 months rental, and dismantling.
Insulation, reinforcement, and decorative finishing.
Mineral wool, adhesives, mesh, and decorative plaster.
Professional equipment and highly skilled specialists.
Estimated budget: $14,700 – $25,000
Estimated: $60,000 – $102,000
Estimated: $56,600 – $75,500

By supporting this project, you help keep the temple warm, alive, and open for thousands of people today and for future generations.
